Loyal S. and Helen Fairall Memorial Scholarship

Application Criteria:

· Must be a member or a child, spouse, grandchild or great-grandchild of a member of
the Armed Forces with an honorable discharge or still on active or reserve duty.

· 2.5 GPA required from high school or last college semester; must maintain 2.5 GPA.

· Preference will be given to applicants from Marshall County first, State of Iowa residents
second and out-of-state applicants third.

· Must be a U.S. Citizen.

· Must include copies of ALL transcripts (HS and college) and include a personal photo.

· Must file a Free Application for Federal Student Aid. Financial need is considered, but ability to pay will never disqualify any applicant.

· Personal interview may be required.

· Scholarship is for full tuition and regular fees not to exceed 16 credit hours per semester for a period of two semesters.

· Applications accepted after January 1st. Previous recipients still attending MCC are encouraged to apply.
